Located in downtown historic Miamisburg, this venue is truly one of a kind. Originally used as a
square dance hall, Star City has retained much of its unique vintage appeal - with added modern
updates.
Miamisburg is where Ashley grew up. During planning stages, it grew unexpectedly meaningful to
host the party in her hometown. We're excited to share this awesome venue with you!
Since Star City is located in the middle of the downtown area, they don't have their own specific
lot for parking. However, there are plenty of options available! All parking is free. There are
large lots and street parking directly across the road from Star City Social.

We first met in 2020 and it is pretty much the only thing worth mentioning from that year. We
pretty quickly learned that we had a lot in common - a love for art, video games, and cute
animals. What started as a very natural connection blossomed into something special.
Fast forward to today, we are an inseparable dynamic duo! When not showcasing artwork at our
local comic con, we love kayaking and hanging out with our cats, Ozzy and Hugo.
We are beyond excited to start this new chapter on our journey!
We first want to say that gifts are not expected. The best gift of all would be having you at our
party (yes, we're corny but we mean it). If you still feel so inclined, we do have a cash
registry through WithJoy. We'll also have a card box physically at the venue.
We truly appreciate everyone and feel very grateful for such wonderful family and friends.
We're still working out some of the details, but as we continue to answer some of our own questions, we'll do our best to update this section and answer yours here.
We're eloping in Colorado Springs on May 20th, 2025 - Ashley and Rob "solo adventure"
style.
Our official reception party with everyone is about two weeks later, on June
7.

There are plenty of parking spaces across the street from the venue as well as in
nearby lots.

Primarily indoors, but there is an outdoor courtyard we'll most likely be utilizing.
We're going buffet style with plenty of options available. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know when you RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate.
We want our guests to feel comfortable. Dress nice, but not too nice. You won't be dining with royalty, but you're not attending a backyard wrestling match either.
